CapitalQuest Privacy Policy

Effective date: 09/03/2026

CapitalQuest Funding, operating as CapitalQuest (“CapitalQuest,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provides this Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, use, and disclose personal information through our partner portal, referral forms, and related communications.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when you create a partner account, submit a referral, contact us, or use our portal. This may include:

  • Your name, email address, telephone number, and professional role.

  • Your company or brokerage name, work arrangement, branch, website, city, and state.

  • A referred client’s name, contact information, service interests, and information you include with the referral.

  • Communications, referral updates, account activity, and permission or acknowledgment records.

Our website and technology providers may also collect technical information, such as IP addresses, browser and device information, pages visited, and access times.

Please do not include Social Security numbers, account passwords, payment-card information, or complete credit reports in general referral notes or ordinary email. If additional information is needed for a service, we will provide instructions for submitting it through the appropriate process.

2. How We Use Information

We use personal information to establish and manage partner accounts, respond to inquiries, process referrals, communicate about requested services, provide appropriate referral updates, maintain records, troubleshoot technical problems, protect against unauthorized activity, and meet applicable legal obligations.

We may also use information to send relevant business communications, subject to applicable consent requirements and communication preferences.

3. Information Provided by Referral Partners

We may receive your information from a professional who refers you to CapitalQuest. Referral partners must have appropriate permission or another lawful basis before submitting someone else’s information.

Providing a referral does not enroll the referred person in a paid service, authorize access to a consumer credit report, or automatically provide consent for marketing text messages.

Where authorized by the client and permitted by law, we may provide the referring partner with limited updates about the referral or service progress. Those updates should not include unnecessary sensitive financial details.

Adding a company or brokerage to a partner profile does not, by itself, authorize disclosure of client information to that company’s other employees.

4. When We Disclose Information

We may disclose information to:

  • Authorized personnel who need it to perform their responsibilities.

  • Providers supporting our portal, hosting, customer relationship management, communications, and other business operations, including Softr and GoHighLevel where used.

  • A referring partner, as described above.

  • Other recipients when you direct or authorize us to do so.

  • Authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with legal requirements, respond to lawful requests, prevent fraud, or protect legal rights.

5. Email and Text Messages

You may unsubscribe from promotional emails using the unsubscribe instructions provided in those messages. We may continue sending necessary account or service communications.

If we offer text messaging and you separately opt in, messages may concern your account, appointments, requested services, or other subjects described when you enroll. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for assistance, or contact us using the details below.

Acknowledging this Privacy Policy or accepting a partner agreement does not itself constitute consent to marketing text messages.

We do not provide mobile numbers or SMS consent records to other businesses for their own advertising. Messaging providers may process this information as necessary to deliver and support our messages.

6. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

Our portal may use cookies or similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and support security and functionality. Blocking certain cookies may prevent parts of the portal from working.

7. Retention and Security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including maintaining accounts, supporting services, resolving disputes, and meeting legal or recordkeeping obligations. Retention periods depend on the information involved and the applicable requirements.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. However, no online system or method of transmission is completely secure.

8. Your Privacy Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information; withdraw certain permissions; or opt out of certain uses or disclosures.

Contact us to submit a request or ask about your choices. We may need to verify your identity and authority before responding. Some requests may be subject to legal exceptions. Where applicable, you may appeal our response by contacting us and stating that you wish to appeal.

9. Children and External Services

Our partner portal is intended for adult business professionals, not children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the portal, please contact us.

External websites and independently operated services have their own privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information to them.

10. Updates and Contact Information

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable requirements. We will post the revised policy with an updated effective date and provide additional notice or obtain consent when required.
